3. INSTALLATION
A. Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B. Install without adhesive or fasteners.
C. Install without adhesive or fasteners, except as follows:
1. Raised Interlocking Tile on Ramps: Fasten each tile to subfloor with galvanized or stainless steel screws, through joints.
2. If the floor is exposed to high temperatures.
3. If the tiles must resist high dynamic pressure
4. If the tiles are fitted in cold temperatures.
1. Glue down using adhesives approved by Geoffrey Drew Marketing, Inc. d/b/a The Mat King
D. Calculate the center of the room by identifying the point equidistant from the four walls, draw a plus sign, and lay the first four tiles around it.
E. Lay tiles by interlocking the joints with a rubber mallet from the center working out towards the walls using a circular method. First lay the full tiles then proceed with the trimmed tiles around the walls.
F. The tiles can be easily cut with a sharp utility knife, or electric table saw.
G. A space of ¼ inch (6mm) expansion gap should be left at the walls and any other obstacles such as pillars and extremely heavy equipment.
H. At open edges, install either Geoffrey Drew Marketing, Inc. d/b/a The Mat King supplied, or standard edging strips, completely finishing visible edge.
I. At doorways, cut off interlocking joints and finish with edging strip.
1. Always use adhesives to install edging strips.
J. Protect installed products until completion of project.
