    Colorfest Tightly Tufted Logo Mats combine the ancient art of tapestry with precise modern technology to enable the reproduction of almost any design in durable, washable Nylon cut pile carpet mats. Colorfest mats are made with 100% solution-dyed Nylon for years of color-fast wear. The Colorfest Tightly Tufted Mats are tufted into skid resistant Nitrile rubber backing which makes sure that they will hold their ground.

 

       Create full-sized designs and logos with high-definition clarity in mats up to 12' x 16'. Choose up to six colors per design from a rich looking and generous 32 -color pallet. 

Construction
Surface: The surface is made of solution-dyed Nylon which allows a manufacturer's limited warranty against significant color loss. The Colorfest Tightly Tufted Nylon strands are twisted and heat-set to help the Colorfest Tightly Tufted Mats resist crushing, makes them great dirt trappers and extends their performance life.
Borders: Colorfest Tightly Tufted Mats are edged on all four sides with reinforced Nitrile Rubber. The mats can also be supplied "borderless" for special situations such as when giving a visiting dignitary the "VIP Red Carpet Treatment" in a setting that may be outdoors or even in inclement weather such on board a naval vessel or on the tarmac of an air field. Colorfest Tightly Tufted Mats can take that kind of usage and, with the rubber edges or borders left off, will look the part.
Backing Options: Colorfest Tightly Tufted Mats are typically supplied with a cleated Nitrile rubber backing for use over loop pile commercial carpeting or over hard flooring. If the intended use is to be exclusively over hard flooring, a flay back option is also available to increase adhesion of the mat to the substrate.
Cleaning: Colorfest Tightly Tufted Mats can be cleaned in a regular maintenance program with vacuuming, extraction cleaning, or hosing and hanging to dry. They can also be included in a commercial laundering program.

Design Tips: Colorfest Tightly Tufted Logo Mats are not recommended for designs that require:

     1. Italic or script lettering.
     2. Small, fine line details.
     3. Thin, straight vertical or horizontal lines.
Artistic license must be allowed when designing curved lines and small details.
Tufted lines should be at least 1/2" in line thickness for logo mats.
Letter size should be a minimum of 3" high and 1/2" in line thickness.
Circle R registration marks need to be at least 4" in diameter if good legibility is a requirement.
Voids are used to help smooth the "ragged" appearance of tufted lines as much as possible especially in horizontal and vertical lines.
Almost all designs can incorporate voids as a designing tool to improve a tufted design's appearance.
The use of a higher construction method, i.e. 10x10, may be necessary to accommodate particularly detailed designs.
